We all have something to learn
By Chris Weaver • Sep 3rd, 2008 • Category: Common Grind NewsQuick post before I hit the sack after a long evening doing search engine optimization. And just wanted to quickly bring you guys attention to something. For the last few years, we’ve had our coffee roasted by Hasbean. A great roastery in Stafford. This is run by a guy called Steve Leighton. A lot of you will know of him, a lucky few will know him personally. I actually interviewed him for the first cast.
Anyway, he just came back from a trip to Rwanda to be on the international jury for their first cup of excellence. And have put a great few posts up on his site at Hasblog. Please pop on over and have a read, we need more guys like this roasting coffee.

Just a side note on this, Steve had a big fire yesterday at the roastery, luckily the only casualty is a 15kg roaster, all the team are ok!!
So please guys, pop on over and give him your support!

Thanks Chris for your kind words, Rwanda was a blast, I cant wait to show you the samples from there stunning quality, and good people too.
Well I shall certainly look forward to that, might make a good cupping for the cast, and maybe build some publicity for bikes for rwanda!
Glad you had fun Steve!!
